Windows XP Help & Support

When I try to open XP Help & Support I get the "Help and Support Error Message" which says "Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running. To fix this problem, start the servicer named "Help and Support"
What system service is not running, and how do I start it. Please Help Me!

Thanks for the advice. But there is no Help and Support listed on the Services menu. My computer is a Dell, and I use Netscape instead of IE, in case that makes a difference.

rtay203,

Go to Start|Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Services. Scroll down to Help and Support. Right-click it and select properties. On the dialog that opens you can click the Start button to start it. While you are there, select "Automatic" in the Startup type: window if it is not already set to that value.

Go to Start > Run and type services.msc, then click on OK. Scroll down to the Help and Support Service, double click on it then start it and set it to load automatically.
