Windows XP Professional

Question

I have WIN XP Professional installed by Dell when I purchased my Inspiron E1505. Is the Professional release always 64 bit? I can't find this noted anywhere. I have the info. Thanks. It is always 64 bit.

I just repeated what their tech support said in answer to this question. I couldn't find the answer anywhere in my system. Do you know how to find it?

Right click the My Computer icon select properties.   If it doesn't say ' Windows XP Professional 64 ' then it is 32 bit.   pcgeek11

In answer to all that responded. You are all correct. I received the wrong info the first time. It is apparently unusual to have a 64 bit system if you're a small or individual user, according to the latest response from DELL.
Unless that too is wrong, I guess that covers it. Thanks for the responses.
