Windows XP SP3 Shutdown Problem
My Precision 350 restarts everytime I shutdown the computer using the "Turn off Computer" from the Start menu. If I use the power button the computer stays off.
I traced the problem to a Lucent Win Fax modem. If I take out the modem I don't have the problem, but if I disable the modem I still have the problem. I'm thinking it is a Dell motherboard issue since I have the same modem in a non-Dell computer with Windows XP SP3 and no shutdown problems.
Any ideas?
