If you are backing up to a diff partition on the same hard drive you will have problems. You must make system images and backups on a completely separate hard drive. An external hard drive is a good investment. Backup and system images are for drive failures. A diff partition would be useless if the drive fails.
I am a computer geek, i have tried all possible solution. i also made backup on external hard drive. i also used number of softwares to make this backup but when i run these backups, my dell n5110 system never respond. Backup starts but after few second no activity in progress bar. i waited for an hour but computer state does not change. I do not understand this odd behaviour on this perticular laptop. Although, my other two system never had such problem.
