WJView Error Message: Could not execute Main. The system cannot find the file specified.

The subject error message started appearing 2 days ago whenever I start up Windows.  When I switched off my computer the previous evening everything was fine.  Hope someone can help get rid of this.

It's looking for a Java program or routine.  According to a search on google for wjview it could be spyware.

If you don't have a spyware program download AdAware or SpyBot (I personally like AdAware better) and run it.  It will scan your system for spyware and allow you to remove any that is found.  I run AdAware at least once a week on my PC's.   I think you can download AdAware from the download section on www.zdnet.com   I'm not sure about SpyBot, it may also be available on zdnet.

I did download AdAware as you suggested, and had it scan my computer.  Unfortunately it did not get rid of my error message.  Thanks at least for your suggestion.

Thank you so much for your solution.  I clicked on your first link which took me to a John Savill page.  By following his instructions on openeing regedit.exe I was able to find the invalid Wjview entry and delete it and I no longer have the problem.
