XP Auto Update reinstall problem
I have downloaded and installed 2 updates, but I keep getting the "
Updates are ready..." icon. Doesn't matter if I restart or click on the icon and reinstall, the icon keeps reappearing. If I do a manual check for updates, the 2 updates appear...apparently they are not being installed though all appears otherwise. The updates are:
Microsoft Windows XP
MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)

Another annoyance is that sometimes my machine will reboot if I press start button after several minutes of inactivity. Any help appreciated...Jim
