XP Firewall Gives Unidentified Error Message??

Dell Dimension 8200 XP Home Service Pack 2 Norton Antivirus 2006 (without personal firewall) IE 7 beta2 Since installing IE7 my e-mail program, 'Incredimail' won’t accept my account authorization details. I think this may be due to a problem with the XP firewall. Windows Security Center reports the firewall as ON, but when I try to check the settings I get following error window: 'Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings' Any advise on how to correct this and check the settings would be appreciated. I’ve been searching for hours and cannot find any similar posts with this problem. thanks

That link was spot-on, fully restored access to my firewall. Must have deleted the reg key when doing a registry clean. Still have to resolve the problem with IE7 & Incredimail only now I have the option to tweak my firewall settings.
