XP professional server.
Hi
I am using Microsoft visual studio and am trying to start the XP server. I go to Internet information Services. I click start and nothing happens. I also have front page server installed.
What else do I have to do to get the server started?
I also notice there is anew SQL server should I use that server?

I am using the XP operating system. To my knowledge it comes with a server thta can be used for local use.

No "server" functions are included with XP such as Print Server, File Server, DHCP, etc, etc, etc.
Now, you can use an XP machine as a print server, file server just nt the true server functions like DHCP, Terminal Services and the like.
Just exaclty whatare you trying to accomplish?
