XP SP2 Security Center "UNAVAILABLE"
Help!!! I cannot configure my security center for my WIN XP Home edition SP2.
When I access the security center it gives me:
"The security center is currently unavailable because the security center has not started or was stopped. Please close window, restart the computer(or start the security center service), and then open the security center again."
Tried restarting the computer still no success. I want to know how to start the security center. Before this problem occured I uninstalled my AVG 7.1 because it expires, then installed NORTON Antivirus 2006. After that problem occured. ANother thing, the antivirus is not on auto protect when windows is started although I have enabled its auto protect in the options.

That may be a Trojan Horse that deletes the registry key to the security center. You might want to google it and see, try "enable windows firewall" or "delete windows firewall key" and see what comes up.
