XPS 8920, recent Save Files, Change Default setting

I am trying to save my files to OneDrive as a default.  It has always worked as my default.  For some reason, the default location is now Recent.  Something caused it to change.  All default locations settings in Word Options, my computer and OneDrive settings are set to save to OneDrive.  It appears my computer does not recognize these default settings.

Do you have any suggestions how I can have my default locations for files change back to OneDrive?

I use Windows 10.  My computer is Dell XPS 8910.

Thanks Jesse for the reply.  I am aware of the process in your link.  My problem is when I select OneDrive for my default save location, my XPS 8920 does not recognize those settings.

I should also add, I reinstalled Microsoft Office and that did not help.

Looking for a solution to your problem, I noticed my OneDrive settings have change as well. I couldn't even find my OneDrive icon on the Taskbar. To find my settings again, I type Settings onto the [Cortana] search box, click on Personalization, Taskbar, Select Which Icons Appear On the Taskbar, and then turn on Microsoft OneDrive. The OneDrive icon appear on task bar again.

Right click the OneDrive icon, Settings, and then Auto Save.

Yes, I have done what you suggested and more. For some reason, my PC does not recognize these settings.  When I select these settings as a default, the default location for my saved documents appear under Recent.
