Problem with auto discovery

 Problem with auto discovery

I'm having a problem getting the auto discovery to work. It has never worked for this particular computer ( and one other running XP Pro x32 ). I'm running the latest updated pocketcloud companion. The configuration wizard works with no problems and according the pocketcloud I'm signed into gmail. Netstat shows active connections to the appropriate servers.

What is weird is I can install companion on other computers in the same building, using the same gmail account and they work fine. I've compared the addresses listed in Netstat with those on the "broken" computer and they are the same. The firewall is turned off. I've tried everything I can think of.

Any ideas?
