Is this an autoconnection(gmail login)?
Are you on wifi or 3g?
Are you able to use a desktop vnc client and connect to the same host?
On free version you can only connect to the topmost saved connection.
Can you run windows companion-diagnostic test(kite icon on desktop-right click-diagnostic)

Session Disconnected could be related to the wrong password.
In order to avoid this mistake please PRESS and HOLD machine name > click EDIT > enter username and password of your Windows Ultimate login (NOT gmail account)> Save
Connect to your Win 7 Ultimate machine.

Joecroatia,
What VNC are you using? Is it TightVNC?

as long as it is via wifi network - everything is fine (loging in and loging out). however on 3g network there seem to be attempts to get through, but nothing happens apart from the black screen. (tried to log out and log in - to no effect)

black screen on 3g

Using HTC Desire, Windows 7 ultimate. Logging with gmail credentials. On the home WiFi
everything works just fine, but on 3g I get connected but all I see is just black screen on my phone. The pocketcloud version is a free one.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Yes I'm using tight vnc.
I've created a connection manually and its working fine now.
Thanks for all your help.

Cheers,
Joe

Hi Heidis, Do you get this error message instantly or after trying for a minute or so...
Are you able to connect to your vnc app using desktop viewer? Start programs-tightvnc-viewer?

I am having the same "session disconnected" issue. I just got a Samsung Mesmerize yesterday. I downloaded the PocketCloud application on my phone and then on my desktop. Have Windows Vista Home on desktop. Using TightVNC Server. Went into TightVNC Server (application mode) and configured to allow loopback connections. It required me to set a password on the "server" tab. Clicked on Diagnostics for the PocketCloud application and made sure my computer was configured for remote access. I checked the passwords. I an access my desktop with Wi-Fi but not with 3G.

Hi george, Is this a RDP connection or vnc? what 3g network you are on? when you see blank screen , can you disconnect and try browsing the net?
Do you have network coverage?
Do you have any firewall blocking the port?

I am also having a similar problem. Pocket Cloud installed on my Android phone and on my desktop. Windows Vista Home on the Desktop. Also using TightVNC server. Signed in on my phone. Under my computers,
discovered connections=on
anne-hpnb next to vnc computer logo

I select that and then a box pops up saying VNC password missing
when I type in what I believe to be the password
I get session disconnected message after a few seconds.

I went into TightVPN settings and reset the password and still the same, I get the session disconnected.

What am I missing?
