Here is an update. The wireless thin client is pulling the configuration it is just taking a very long time to do so compared to the non wireless thin clients.

you may want to add the following line to the WNOS.INI file:

EnableCacheINI=Yes

If you are using an ARM processor thin client

or

MirrorFileServer=Yes

if using an AMD or Intel processor.
