SSL Bad Header version error
We have D10DP on firmare version 8.0. We tried migrating to VMWare View 6.2, but we get the following error when trying to connect to the upgraded view-connection server:
SSL Bad Header version.
We can get the VMWare Client on a PC to connect just fine, just can't connect from Wyse Thin clients.

From what wyse support told us, VMware 6.2.1 is not compatible with the Dell/Wyse D10P thin clients firmware. We had to downgrade to VMware 6.2 until Dell/Wyse releases an update to the firmware that is compatible with VMware 6.2.1. My guess is it has to do with SSL/TLS versions not being compatible.

Hi Jef0226,
Question, is it working After you downgrade the version of your view from 6.2.1 to 6.2?
Thanks,

Yes we downgraded both Horizon View server and View agent to 6.2.0
Yes our thin clients started working after we downgraded. Still waiting for the new firmware from Dell/Wyse before we can upgrade to 6.2.1.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, just to clarify, do we need to downgrade the version of Horizon View server and View agent? our current version of Horizon View is 6.2.1 and also the view agent.
Appreciated your quick response...
Thanks,
Jhero

If anyone else is having this problem, there is a proper solution in form of firmware upgrade. To sum up the steps I've done (wasn't easy)
Good luck
