StoreFront: Change password does not work.

StoreFront: Change password does not work.

With Citrix StoreFront, the password can not be changed.
SignOn=Yes
With SignOn=NTLM it works.

Hello CSSTTba,
I don't understand your post.

You state that its not working, but it is working.

Can you inform as to why using the statement "Signon=NTLM" doesn't work for you?

Thanks
John

Still didn't work after you configure the setting on storefront side?Did you select "at any time" option,
on my side, it works well when you set sign=yes, and set "User must change password at nect logon" on domian controller, we will get the change pasword dialog box on WTOS logon window.

I had the same problem with older c10 and s10 wyse terminals
User did got a change password dialog box but after entering a new password the users get the change password failed error

and it only dit work when i had signon= ntlm instead of yes
in the wnos.ini together with a passwordserver= pointing to a few citrix servers

I found a solution to edit the \Views\PnaConfig\config.aspx file on the storefront server
and replaced the existing change password section with:

Never
Direct-Only

now it also works with signon=yes instead of ntlm
with the wnos entry passwordserver=

seems a bit strange to set allow change password on never but it works

Hallo John
The NTLM protocol also requires a WINS server.
We do not want to use the WINS server.
The WINS server will soon be dismantled.
With XenApp, the password can be changed. SignOn = Yes
With storefront it needs to work as it does with XenApp.

Thanks

You need to configure this on storefront server side, please open Critix Storfront console, the location is Authentication-User name and password-Manage Password Options, not select "Never"option

Added the entry DisablePassword=yes in wnos.ini
Now it works with SignOn=Yes.

Same Problem like you Teddiz, with a Dx0D, too. Running XenApp 7.6 FP2.

Passwordserver="IPv4 Adress of our DDC (delivery controller)"

SignOn=Yes

StoreFront Version 2.6.0.5031 is configured to User name and password = Yes and the 2 other methods.
