SysMode VDI Published apps always fullscreen
SysMode VDI Published apps always fullscreen
We currently have WYSE V10L, firmware v. 7.0.113 connecting to a Xenapp 6 desktop. (2008 R2) I want to use the VDI option to launch an application so that the launched application is local to the V10L and not through the desktop.
My problem arises as each published app is then launched in FULLSCREEN mode. Not seamlessly. Is there anyway to get a workaround?

SysMode=VDI is for desktops only. Hence the reason everything runs full screen. There isn't a taskbar or desktop locally with SysMode=VDI.
You must use SysMode=Classic. You will get a taskbar and the ability to run multiple applications. If you set the icons in Citrix to show on the desktop, they will show on the desktop on WTOS. If you didn't set that in Citrix, you can use the Ondesktop command to show all the users applications as icons on the WTOS desktop.
SessionConfig=ICA ondesktop=All
or you may want to just display the applications and not the desktops:
SessionConfig=ICA ondesktop=Applications

Additionally if you have many icons on the WTOS desktop when using SysMode=Classic and want to clean up the desktop try using the below parameter
IconGroupStyle=folder
This will place your icons into folders.
