Stuck at "Your system administrator is now reconfiguring this client" display - Wyse Thin Client 5070
Hi,
I'm trying to add app policies and try to run it, the thin client display "Your system administrator is now reconfiguring this client" when the job is running, then i tried to cancel the job but the thin client display keep on displaying the same thing.
I force unregister the thin client and the thin client still displaying the same thing when i login admin/user account. Are there any way for me to fix this? Do i have to reset the thin client? If yes, how?
The Dell Wyse Thin Client 5070 is running on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
Thank you

in WMS 1.4 there was an additional setting added to an application deployment policy for WES, which allows for a "Timeout". At the bottom of an AppPolicy you will see a box for "Application Installation Timeout". This will help you avoid this.
Application Installation Timeout (5-360min)*
In this event you have run into an application deployment hang. You can wait 24 hrs I believe, or if you can get the windows key to work via Ctrl Alt Del, and bring up task manager you can kill the installer you are trying to send.

Using WMS Pro or WDM, you can create a RSP Package to send the command "EL" (End Lockout). This is a fail-safe to remove current lockouts in case a package hangs during installation.
Using WMS Standard, the only provided option is to specify a timeout and wait it out. If the packages fails on a single thin client, the only thing available is to cancel the app policy for all thin clients, taskkill WDA, clear out WDA's job list manually (JSON file in C:\Program Files\Wyse\", and restart the client. I hope this process can be imporved in the future. The current design behind WMS will continue to deploy the package over and over until it successfully installs. The only mostly-guaranteed to avoid risk is to test all packages in a separate environment before deploying to clients (including Dell-provided packages as Dell's QA is not perfect).
