Diverging booting times

Hello,

in our setup, we have a core and an edge server with more or less the same hardware specificatons. Performance tests on storage devices as well as network connection reveal nearly identical results. However, whenever a client is assigned to the core server, it takes around 4 minutes to boot, while the same client need only around 50 seconds when being assigned to the edge server.

Do you have any idea as to what could explain this phenomenon?
