Looks good, nice config. That new Intel-i9 is very powerful. What will you be using this machine for mainly?
How do you like your AMD RX-6600-XT?

Mine is just a general purpose do all box. Office apps for when I work from home, also used for Digital Audio processing with Amateur Radio digital modes and then some light occasional gaming. Its way overkill for what I really need, but I wont need to worry about it for a few years.
The RX6600 XT works really well with the games I have played so far, Forza Horizon 5 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. On my list to try is Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. The 6600 XT is good bang for the buck.

I chose to keep my ancient Dell with Vaacuum Tubes and invest in a good GPU for doing work. The system will also game just fine but its not the primary focus for my daily driver. Its running windows 11 in unsupported mode just fine.

UserBenchmarks: Gaming 136%, Desktop 115%, Work station 155%
Processor 12700k: 115%

SSD Firecuda: 504%
SSD WD 810: 611%
SSD EVO 870 Sata: 136%
Memory: 151%
I probably could have squeezed a little more out of it, I have a bunch of browser windows open, a movie playing and some other stuff open but I don't really think that it made much of a difference, maybe got a bit better score on the GPU. As an aside, I wouldn't run these tests often. They put a lot of writes on the SSD's....

Interesting. Is that at 1080p or 1440p ? Graphic-Effects set around High ?
If you think to, please post back here after trying RDR2 and CyberPunk.
I am considering a XPS-8950, but with an AMD card this time. If I don't like it, I drop-in my trusty GTX-1070 .

I really thought there would have been more people doing this and more posts. I am actually very curious about how the 12XXX series CPU's and the higher end video cards score. To clarify my other post: When I said that I wouldn't run these often because of the writes it puts on to the SSD....What I meant was that I wouldn't be running these tests 20 times a day trying to get a few more points.(I do know people that have done that....) There is nothing wrong with doing tests like this or a CrystalDiskInfo test just to see how things stack up. Kudos to dstewart51 for starting this because it is interesting and good bit of fun to compare systems.

Give it some time. It's only been a day-or-so. Plus, it's really only for new XPS-8950 owners. I see yours benched nicely as well.
So, do these compare to each other in any-way, or only to a matching-card on other systems (that used the website)?

Your GPU, Nvidia RTX-3060Ti : 117%

That is a good question, I am not really sure how these number are compared.. I never really payed much attention to tests like these because it doesn't change the fact that this is what my system is- for better or worse. I am not gonna go spend hundreds to try to gain a few points. I am thinking about pulling my I5 Inspiron 3650 out and seeing what it does and posting it on this thread. I kinda think everyone who wants to should post their results, even if it is not a 8950. I was surprised that mine did as well as it did compared to dstewart51, I figured he was gonna come out way on top with double the amount of RAM. As far as everything else besides the RAM, I doubt I would be able to tell the difference in the real world.

And as far as the GPU numbers, my 3060ti score was low, the results said it was in the bottom 5%. Maybe because I had a movie playing or because I am using the studio driver.

How old is your system? From what I read about that CPU online, your PC must have been VERY impressive when it was new. I think the numbers from your scores show that it is still a good machine. Anyways, I'm just curious and I hope you don't think that I am poking fun or being disrespectful.

At least with User Benchmarks, the numbers are comparisons against like components. So my 6600XT at 99.8% is very close to what all of the other 6600XT's benchmark at. Which is understandable since its stock, not OC'ed at all. Same with the CPU, relativity performance vs the same CPU on other systems.
The overall mark is where it rates your system as a whole in Gaming, Desktop or Workstation use. Its not the best benchmark, just something for fun.
If someone wants to do a specific comparison, like CPU or Memory or Graphics card overall performance we can pick a common test and compare directly using the proper specific tool to benchmark. Like 3dmark for graphics.

Here are some CPU and GPU benchmarks using CPUZ, Intel XTU and 3DMark which can be used to reference other CPU's and GPU's for side by side comparison. Best to use the same versions of software. i7-12700K, RX 6600 XT, both running at stock speeds, nothing is OC'ed.

I'm really old and from well before MSDOS from 1981 or the Apple II OS from 1977. Which is why I know about ATT Unix and Microsoft Xenix and CPM etc.
The T1700 is from 2012 and has Windows 8.0 bios key. Its main value being you do not have to buy a $200 windows 10 or windows 11 pro licence because you can get 10 to install and activate then upgrade your 11 or use RUFUS 3.17 and make a USB installer from WIN11 ISO and install that.
I used the Mosetup method on my T1700 because it has TPM 1.2 and secure boot capability.
Using the Vaccuum tube reference was just to indicate that its very old.
I have older systems from 2006 with pentium D945 cpu like XPS 400 but DDR2 and Netburst is just wayy too slow for modern gpus and quad core is as low as you want to go to get reasonable frame rates even at 720P aka 1366 x 768.
Thats why an Optiplex 780 with core 2 quad processor and 8 gigs of ram works fine with a GT1030 and games like GTA 5 and Fortnite.
The point being that people can game on a T1700 with DDR3 and Xeon and Quadro K2200. Its not 8K video on 6 screens mosaic but 720p on 24 inch monitor is just fine.

Those are great scores. You definitely got me beat on cpu-z. I got 9484 on multi core and 797 on single. Your 64Gb of ram really shows compared to my 32Gb.
