Dell diagnostics - power button cable failure

Ever since I changed my case and power supply, I am getting this error message during the BIOS diagnostics:

Error code 2000-0716

Power button cable failure.jpg

My computer is all turning up and running fine. Power and reset - both buttons work as expected. I followed this link:

https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-8930-No-Power-Button-LED-No-Post-Beeps-P-S-Fan-died-but/td-p/7317828

to attach the cables to the motherboard. Two power LED(+ve and -ve)-I didn't connect as they are not on the Computer case. My case is this:

IAN LI LANCOOL II MESH PEROFRMANCE BLACK Tempered Glass ATX Case -Black Color -LANCOOL II MESH PEFORMANCE-X

If I follow this post:

https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-8900-SA-error-code-2000-0716/m-p/7537303#M47725

then there is nothing to worry.

Does somebody knows how to suppress this BIOS diagnostics and if needed, how to bring it back?

I have dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux - so I don't want this diagnostics which expects me to click continue.

My case is this:

Try uninstalling Support Assist which will eliminate the error message. The forum post you referred to is correct. It is due to the proprietary nature of Dell connections and nothing to be concerned about.

Also a lovely case and highly recommended in reviews.

Uninstalling support assist is not helping. I still get that ePSA diagnostics at start-up with pops up false alarm and I can never get rid of that.

@JOcean

Why can I not see the images of the case?

Try this site per the link.

I already knew that link. Is there any other suggestion. My computer's power and reset button is working fine. How I can disable this ePSA check at start-up. I uninstalled support assist but this ePSA check is not going away.

I connected the power LED also based on this link .

Unfortunately, even after that I still get this annoying message at the time of ePSA which can't be disabled it seems.
