my XPS 8960 stinks
I bought this desk top on July 26, 025 and it stinks. It's slower than AOL dial up and DeLL provides ZERO help except to say, "We'll get back you" and then it never does." Oh yeah, then Dell wants me to pay more money to extend a worthless warranty. This is the second rime I've had to sign up I do not know why I bothered. Also this is the cheapest keyboard I've even seen. I paid $2200 . The only thing I can do is give it to GOODWILL, get a donation receipt and use that tax write off to by some other computer, but not from DeLL. My ASUS works but it does not take Windows 11. That is the main reason I bought a new computer

Hi
Disable Killer services for immediate improvement:
Press Win+R, type
services.msc, and set all "Killer" and "xTend" services to Disabled startup type, then reboot.Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to Startup tab, and disable Killer Intelligence Center.
In Killer Intelligence Center (if installed), turn off Prioritization Engine and Auto Bandwidth under Quick Settings.

Thanks, I did whatever I could to stop the Killer's. DELL did not allow disable or uninstall options, but it had a STOP option. I doubt it is permanent, but at least it is about as fast as my 15 year old ASUS.

Hi
I believe it is an Intel thing, rather than directly a Dell, although they did select it as suitable.

Linux Considerations
On Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, Mint), Killer hardware uses standard Intel drivers (iwlwifi for WiFi AX1675i, igc for Ethernet E3100G), requiring no Killer software.
Maybe Dell could offer a decent alternative?
