Power cable for new Graphics card needs 8 connect instead of 6 current
I have the standard XPS8910
I just bought from Dell GTX 1060 graphics card to upgrade (after conversation with Dell chat)
But the cable my current Graphics (GTX 960) doesn't match what the new GTX 1060 needs
Photo show current on the left and what is needed on the right
Can someone give me advice ? thanks

8 pin indicates 225W to 300W card.
Tapping power from other connectors on the power supply DOES NOT Give you more power for the power supply.
In other words stock 460W unit doesn't come with 8 pin connectors because it does not have 300W of Extra power to provide for the video card alone.

I thought the OP had a GTX 1060. My research indicates the GTX 1060 has a 6-pin supplementary power connector, but I assume that some versions may have an 8-pin connector.

Hi, @Anonymous ,
Yes, my XPS8930 is fitted with a GTX1080 & the "Stock 460W PSU", as your earlier Photo clearly shows, has a 6+2 Connector (i.e. it can be used for BOTH 6Pin & 8 Pin Connections).
