afaik only three chassis options exist for 720:
standard black front bezel + silver chassis
red front bezel + silver chassis
glossy black chassis (typically H2C).
so what are these red and black side panel?
answer seems to be:
Ahhh, the red vs black only refers to the release latch color. the panel itself is either silver or glossy black only. no black or red side panel afaik. correct me if I were wrong.

So the 720/710 silver side panel will fit 730(x) case too. The only difference is that solid 710/720 panel has red XPS logo, while solid 730(x) panel has chrome logo.
moreover, side panel with clear view window (X-panel) for 720 will fit 730(x) too. the X-panel has no logo, so from outside they look identical.

on the inside, one is not sure of Dell design. Side panel for 730x is supposed to have an extra ledge to press on theater lighting switch when panel is closed, so the lighting is turned off when panel is on. not able to verify that part.
