XPS 8910 airflow and gpu idle
Hi,
I have a DELL XPS 8910 with Ge force GTX 745.
I noticed it idles at 60 degrees Celsius. This seems unnecessarily hot, I took it apart and removed as much dust as I could, nothing changed.
I was planning on upgrading to a GTX 1060, and, I am wondering will the XPS 8910 be able to handle this card with its current airflow, and its 460 watt psu?

It is certainly very confusing that a ghost display would cause a GPU to idle at high temperatures. I have 3 real displays connected to my GTX 750 Ti and it is idling at 33 degrees Celsius.

Thanks for the help everyone.
I organized a remote session with Dell. They are as confused as I am. They are sending it to the product engineering team and they will get back to me in 2 business days. I'll release what they have to say if it resolved my problem on this thread for anyone else who may have this same issue.
