XPS 8940 unable to enable/ disable Fn key

As topic, I tried Fn + Esc; Fn + e; Fn +shift doesn't work. try entering the bios to enable fn key, can't find the "Fn Lock Options" under "POST Behavior" or system configuration , I even update my bios for it, still no luck.

The reason I need to enable my function key, is I got a new keyboard , and the esc key somehow has a function of opening a new webpage..... which prevent me from using it during game mode, cause the fn is on by default, so I need to enable my function key to turn off the function by default

Thank you in advance

Well, what IS the Keyboard?

I've got a Logitech K850. There is a LOGI OPTIONS that goes with it. I can only change with it 7 keys.

I can lock it so the Function keys work like the key, not the operation tied to the key:

=======

To lock the function (Fn) keys on a Logitech K850 keyboard, press the

Fn + Esc keys simultaneously. This toggles the Fn lock, allowing the F1-F12 keys to perform their standard function actions without needing to hold the Fn key, while the media and hotkeys (like volume control) require holding Fn to activate. To unlock, press Fn + Esc again.

=======

Other PC, a new Tower has Dell's Wireless Keyboard/mouse... and it is done differently as well. Have to hold down the Fn + Function key to have it work as a Function key, not the assigned operation. That too can be locked into Function key operation.

Some keyboards might require the running OS to work like that, that is you might not be able to get Fn+F2 to get into BIOS possibly.

Consult the Keyboard model manual or Google it, should be able to figure it out.
