XPS 8950, 13th Gen CPU support?
XPS 8950
Hello all,
I'd like to upgrade my XPS 8950 to a core i7-13700k as they become available at the end of the month. It's my understanding that since our XPS's use a z690 chipset we should only need a BIOS update to be able to use these processors. Does anyone know if BIOS 1.6 already supports them? Or if we can expect a new bios soon to add support?

I tried the 1.10.0 few minutes ago, same result as before with the 13th gen 13900K, not booting up so went back to the 12700K.
Waiting patiently in the cold for this to work one day

Appears the XPS 8960 will be coming out soon and it supports 13th Gen i5, i7, and i9 CPUs, but not yet listed on the XPS Sales page.
I'd be skeptical they'll enable 13th Gen CPU support on XPS 8950, which could hurt the launch of the new XPS 8960 model, and probably not before their inventory of XPS 8950 systems with 12th Gen CPUs is low/gone...if ever...

Dell just issued firmware upgrade 1.15.0. Has anyone out there tried this version with a 13th gen CPU yet?

I hope they support 13th gen soon.
Like the XPS8940 (10/11th gen) and XPS8930 (8/9th gen cpu).
Anyone tried with 1.15.0 BIOS yet?
