XPS 8950, 24 pin to 8 pin power adapter cable

Hello everyone.

I have bought a new XPS 8950 I512th gen desktop PC with the GTX 1650 SUPER graphics card and 460Watt power supply. I have an RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics card and a Corsair RM750x 750Watt power supply.

What i want to do is remove the GTX 1650 SUPER and slot in my RTX 3080 in its place, unplug the Dell 460Watt power supply from the motherboard (both the 8-pin main power connector and two 4-pin CPU connectors) and thread into the case through a removed backplate the two 4-pin CPU connectors and the 24-pin main power connector from my Corsair power supply (which will remain outside of the case).

The problem is that i need a 24-pin to 8-pin main power adapter cable for the motherboard (which is actually a 10-pin connector, but my Dell 460Watt power supply only has an 8-pin connector block).

Now, MODDIY do have a 24-pin to 8-pin adapter cable (part reference CAB359) compatible with numerous Optiplex machines such as 3020, 3040, 3046, 3620, 3650, 3670, 5040, 7020, 7040, 7050, 9010, 9020, and T20, T30.

I messaged MODDIY and they said that their "CAB359" cable would work fine with my XPS 8950, but i'm not sure if they actually know that to be true or just want me to buy their cable. Does anyone know if the 10-pin motherboard connector pin layout on the new XPS 8950 will accept the MODDIY "CAB359" 24-pin to 8-pin adapter cable?

This quite new Dell proprietary 8 pin pinout is still under investigation.
