XPS 8950, Intel Innovation Platform Framework driver issues
I purchased this desktop PC back in late Feb. 2023 and ever since using it, get occasional but mostly frequent messages in reliability history in Windows 11 that the "Intel Innovation Platform Framework Driver Has Stopped Working". This is also known as ipf_helper.exe. The system is Intel i7-12700, onboard graphics are disabled, and using Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti with the 16GB DDR5, all of which it shipped to me with. It does have the "Advanced Cooling" option instead of the typical fan that an i7-12700 would come with. It is using the driver version from 2021 I believe since that is the most up to date one that is on the Dell driver page, and the one that MS updates it with automatically as well when I've tried to reinstall the driver.
Also, have numerous times done the DISM and the SFC scans for corrupt Win files, most of the time they come up clean, and have fixed when they haven't. Doesn't seem to help, or if it does it only lasts a few days then the errors come back again. Also they seem to happen when the computer is not being taxed hard, just browsing in Edge. This issue has been ongoing since the purchase about a year and a half ago, and I've yet to find a permanent fix, though the longest the errors stopped was about 5 days at one point, then came back. This is a very old driver, and was also wondering why hasn't there been more updates for this since October 26, 2021, the driver date? Also BIOS is completely up to date.
Here is the error as it appears in the Reliability Monitor:

Also wanted to add this issue is similar to one posted a few years back on here that also was never solved:
Reliability History | DELL Technologies
I also have to add that I did memory tests in Windows more than once, and came back with nothing, and did an Intel processor stress test that didn't show any hardware issues. I'm still leaning to a hardware issue being the cause, but not certain yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like a fairly common problem...
You might go to Intel Download Center and install their wizard. Let it scan your hardware and see if it offers an updated Intel Innovation Platform Framework Driver.

@RoHe Thank you I tried the link and installed the wizard. It only offers two drivers which are a blue tooth and a set of Killer drivers at the moment, but I am going to try those since they are newer versions than I have from Dell updates. Nothing updated for Intel Innovation though.

Read this, for example.
You could always disable it since this isn't a laptop, so conserving battery power isn't an issue...

Do a fresh reload of Win11 (AHCI mode) and see if this is hardware or software related.
Let Win11 do the updates then optionally install the Dell updater (not the other Dell bloatware).
The Dell update app is said to be discontinued this year but for now it works well unless you just prefer the manual method via Dell's website.

I know it's been awhile since my post, but I wanted to follow up on this issue. I recently found a site from another post here on the forum which helped me find a newer ipf driver than the one I've been using the past two years which crashes frequently.
https://www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en/component/remository/Drivers/Intel/Dynamic-Tuning-Technology-(DTT)/Intel-Dynamic-Tuning-Technology-(DTT)-Version-9.0.11200.30652/lang,en-gb/
There is the link to the driver on the Station-Drivers site, I've installed and so far gone longer than any time since I got this PC without errors in Event Viewer. It is dated late 2022, which is newer than the Dell driver posted from 2021, and no crashes or temp issues or anything wrong so far. I wanted to follow up on the issue in case anyone else was having issues with the older IPF driver on the XPS 8950 desktop with the i7-12700. It seems the one from 2021 is bugged, but his new one is fixed. Thanks for your help here. This will help if anyone is having similar issues too.
