XPS 8960, 3.5" drive caddy

An XPS 8960 is on the way. I am planning on adding a 3.5" SATA drive into one of the free drive cages. Does anyone know if the drive caddy for an XPS 8950 (65KHD) is also suitable for the XPS 8960?

8950 typically ships without extra long right angle sata data cable routed to the left upper corner 3.5” cage. @DELL-Chris M do you know the DP/N of this cable if it is shipped with 8960?

The longer right angle sata data cable was only shipped on systems that required it for the drive installed from the factory. The cable length is not stated? Based on the pictures in SPMD =

YY2VT = right angle SATA cable

YY2VT = right angle SATA cable is the sata cable with blue tab for 8950/8960 right upper corner 3.5” cage.  FDB46F83-4E70-44E3-B81E-8B4C77A6091F.jpeg

according to this picture of XPS 8960, the left upper corner 3.5” cage sata cable has a different DP/N (not YY2VT).  It is extra long and longer than YY2VT.  it has a black tab.

Kudos to user Ryeknown who contributed the info on DP/N of this cable.  D/PN 025X39 PXL_20230607_030906527.jpgPXL_20230607_030821972.jpg
