XPS One 2710, boot loop

My Dell XPS One 2710 has a boot loop problem, first it’s the normal Dell Logo, then it turns into a grey screen with the command prompt ‘_’ and then it’s a black screen, then it goes back to the Dell logo screen and the process is infinite..

I ran the diagnostic from the f12 button, it said this exactly:

Error Code 2000-0142

Validation 112222

Msg: Hard drive 0 - S/N Z1E0H9FS, Short self test unsuccessful.

The given error code and message can be used by Dell Technical Support to help diagnose the problem.

Do you want to continue testing?”

then it’s yes, no and retry.. please help, what do I do??

The drive has failed according to the error code.  2000-0142 "drive failed self test".

In addition to the statement by fireberd, the HDD should be replaced. The largest XPS One 2710 SATA3, 3.5" HDD are listed below with the Dell part number =
HHD4K 3TB Seagate Grenada
Y4N52 2TB Seagate Grenada
NMT49 2TB Hitachi Mariner
2WK2D 2TB Seagate Muskie

Search the web for the Dell part number.
