9560 no bootable device
hard drive on 9560 failed. bought a new one. installed. created OS recovery USB from dell.com using the support for the specific laptop after entering service tag. successfully created recovery USB. started computer. get "no boot device found. press any key to reboot the machine". I've tried booting several times and eventually the Dell Support Assist comes up and runs a hardware diagnostic. the diagnostic passes; but it also gives the no boot device error and only option is to shut down. please advise how to fix this.
went into bios and did the following :
(a) advanced boot options / enabled legacy option ROMS
(b) advanced boot options / enable attempt legacy boot
(c) boot sequence / made USB storage device the number one boot device
(d) boot sequence / change UEFI to legacy
(e) disabled secure boot
(f) supportassist OS recovery / check supportassist OS recovery box

No need to change anything in BIOS and support assist os recovery option is when you are factory resetting on the original drive. Original drive has a factory installed partition to run supportassist OS recovery. You have boot from USB under UEFI options.
Please get back in BIOS and RESET to default, While you are in BIOS please also ensure that your newly installed SSD/HDD is detected in General > System information.
Reboot to F12 menu and your USB should show under UEFI boot options. Do not choose anything which shows under legacy. If it isn't that USB was not created properly and have file missing
Use Media creation tool from Microsoft to create USB once again.
