9710 BugCheck on Sleep when 2nd M.2 is enabled

I self-installed a Sabrent Rocket Q4 (4TB) as my second M.2 drive.  Running Windows 11.  Not 100% sure, but close to it, that this problem occurred prior to upgrading. But I received the laptop 9/10 and only actively started using it this last week when traveling, so only chased down the issue this week.

After the XPS 17 sleeps, I get a BSoD/BugCheck:

Bug check code
0x000000d1
Bug check parameters

0xffff858064b4b050,

0x0000000000000002,

0x0000000000000000,

0xfffff80674990f44

Device name
Microsoft Storage Port Driver
Driver version
10.0.22000.258 (WinBuild.160101.0800)
Driver path
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\storport.sys

If I disable M.2 #2 in the BIOS, this does not occur.  I've tested both ways repeatedly and confirmed that it only happens is the #2 M.2 is enabled.  I have not pulled the hardware and tested with it enabled in the BIOS as that is not practical at this time (traveling).

Of course I can avoid this by not sleeping when plugged in, but would still like to find a fix for when I'm actually using the laptop as a laptop and it's not plugged in.

Any suggestions?  Or am I SoL because I self-installed the drive?

Thanks.

Looks like it's community members or bust.  Support washed its hands because of the after-purchase SSD.  I'll reply here myself if I find a resolution.
