Active pen for XPS 13 (2020) not 2in1

Question

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if the active pen can be used in a XPS13 or XPS15 with touchscreen but not 2-in-1 models. I'm confused after seeing some posts where states only capacitive pen can be used.

No. The clamshell systems do not have the active digitizer needed to support writing with an active pen.

Only the 2-in-1 XPS 13 7390 supports an active pen - the 9300 does not.

There is currently no 2-in-1 XPS 15 -- the last one was the 9575, which is not a current model.
