BIOS Corrupted?
XPS 15 9510
Hi, I do have an issue where the XPS 9510 was not detecting the SSD. I see in BIOS that SSD is OK. I try to run a supportassist OS recovery but it says: "either WLAN or LAN Network is enabled". I go back in BIOS WLAN is ON.I then try to load default config, but that does not fix the issue. I try now to reinstall BIOS from USB but the "select file" never opens. Please help me reinstall my windows!

You either need to reset the setup to disable IRST (RAID), enabling AHCI mode -- or you need to pause the Windows installation to insert the IRST driver from a flash drive.
F2 at setup to change the drive from IRST/RAID to AHCI mode, or the driver here:

Do not waste time with SupportAssist OS Recovery .
Download Dell's OS USB Recovery tool on another computer. run the tool and it will guide you step by step to create a bootable Windows USB
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-in/drivers/osiso/recoverytool
if you made any changes in BIOS please reset the bios to default first.

I finally got my ssd back after installing this IRST driver, thank you. I also previous had an ON/OFF usb visible as found out that I needed to save BIOS setting as custom settings in order to stay on next reboot. Not sure if this was correct behavior for a BIOS but that did the trick. Now I'm back with Windows installed and first thing I did was to update/flash BIOS to 1.12 (latest). Now installing the dell's tools back making sure I have the latest and greatest FW and drivers.
Thanks for your help
