Bluetooth audio sounds muffled awful quality - Solution?

I got an XPS 8940 Desktop recently...

The bluetooth audio sounded terrible on everything I tried it on, soundbar, receiver, etc. It was driving me nuts! Called support a few times, NO Help. My cell phone sounds great on the same speakers. Tried using the MAXX Audio app supplied, but it was all grayed  out and didn't do anything ;-( Well, I finally tried hooking up the speakers direct with a WIRE! (stone age) MAXX Audio picked it up and started working, woo hoo! Girlfriend complained about the bass disturbing her (HAH!), so I switched over to bluetooth headphones... MAXX Audio was STILL WORKING!? Sounds great!

So... Try sticking a plug in the speakers "line out port" whether you have speakers or not, just to fake out the system! MAXX Audio SHOULD work on ALL audio output regardless, don't you think? Sheesh!!!
