Creating the Ultimate XPS Cooling Solution
I've taken it upon myself and designed the best cooler I can for the XPS ecosystem that's as asthetically pleasing and minimalist as possible. One that is specifically designed to cool the XPS VRMs and be as sleek as possible in doing so.
I've had it with thermal throttling. Tried everything from repasting to undervolting, but under demanding circumstances it still throttles. The only thing that ever worked for me was my old DeepCool N8 Ultra cooler, but that was massive and loud and hard to type on.
The cooler I've designed is CNC machined from 6082-T6 aluminum and only 4mm thick on average! With cooling channels that specifically channel heat away from the VRM area and sit only 1mm away from the chassis of the laptop to minimise wasted airflow.
