No way to answer such a vague question. What model XPS (7950, 9550, etc.)? And what apps are not updating? Does the internet connection work at all? Wireless internet or wired? Any antivirus/security packages loaded? If so, which (McAfee, Norton, etc.) and does the situation improve if you disable them?
