Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 fingerprint sensor and orientation sensor stop working after sleep

Sometimes when my XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 wakes the fingerprint sensor and orientation sensor stop working after opening the lid. This is how the device manager looks like when that happens.  They all show code 43.

The only way to fix it is to reboot. Had an issue like this before and Dell replaced the logic board and keyboard, but the issue persists.
