Dell XPS 13 9370 screen problem. (FLickering, inverted color, scrambled)
Hi all,
My dell xps 9370 screen had this problem all of a sudden. It is flickering, has inverted color on most of the screen and is scrambled. The windows is the stock OS windows 8 that came with the laptop. I tried to update graphics driver, reinstall it and pretty much most of the screen fix mentioned in the forum.
I then installed a new windows 10 thinking maybe a new fresh OS would solve it. It did not and I still have the same issue. If someone ever faced the same issue and fixed it please let me know. This is what it looks like.
Any help or recommendation will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Run a screen diagnostic (hold the D key through powerup). Do the test screens show the same fault or are they clear?
If they show the same fault, replace the screen.
If they're clear, it's a problem with the cable that connects the screen to the system board (which on this model means a replacement screen), or it's a problem with the GPU itself.

I'm having the exact same problem. My screen went like this while I was doing work on my desk. Never dropped it or applied any pressure to it. I just don't understand how this could happen so suddenly?

Hi,
I am having exactly same problem on my XPS 13 9380. I left for lunch, locked the room and returned after an hour and noticed small blinks on top, then after couple of days started showing exactly same as your screen.
I did try for every possible solution but did not work.
If you have solved the problem, kindly share your experience. Thanks

Same thing here with XPS 9590. Every thing updated updated, disabled, re-enabled, drivers uninstalled, reinstalled. Same problem going on. By the dates of the last two posts I suspect it is a software issue or date of expiration of the monitor. I have this notebook sited in my desk for 3.5 years now.
