Dell XPS 13 screen replacement

Question

Are the screens of the Dell XPS 13 9310 2 in 1:

- 13,4" FHD+ (1.920 x 1.200) 16:10

- 13,4" UHD+ (3.840 x 2.400) 16:10

interchangeable?

Is there any software issue when swapping the panels (hardware) as the specifications of both devices are the same except the screens resolution?

The panels come complete with cables so they will interchange. If you're moving from FHD to UHD+, bear in mind:

1. If the system is under warranty, you will lose the warranty;

2. You will take an appreciable hit to battery runtimes -- likely losing at least a couple of hours per charge with the UHD screen vs. FHD.
