Dell XPS 15 9570 Boot Loop - No Solutions Working!

Hello,

I have recently been experiencing a gauntlet of PC problems that has seemed to have no end.

It all started with me making the terrible mistake of letting a bad fan sit for over a year.

Flash forward to a couple weeks ago, and I believe the CPU thermal paste finally wore out, causing incessant crashing following startup.

I had to replace the fan, thermal paste, AND battery before I was finally able to get my PC to work again. But I did it, and it ran successfully.

However...

After trying my luck playing a video game at the start of this week, I experienced a NASTY crash and am now being plagued by boot loop issues.

No solution I have tried so far to restore my PC has worked!

Windows boot manager, USB recovery drives, and even SupportAssist OS Recovery are ALL failing to load and freezing.

I am quite desperate at this point. I want to keep my data. I do not want to send it to Dell's dungeon. And am wondering if there is any further steps I can take to save it?

All of the hardware on my laptop passes diagnostics. I've tried hard rebooting. Made no difference. Only thing I've yet to try is making a Windows 11 Media Installation USB. Last thing I am planning to do before I give up.

If there is anything I might be missing though, I would really appreciate any and all help!

You can open up your system take out the SSD and manually back up your data before trying to further troubleshoot your laptop.

Thank you for the reply! How do I manually back it up? Isn't it a chip?

Sorry, I'm only as tech savvy as the guides I am able to find online.

I've attached the link to the service manual. If you do not think you have the ability to do what the service manual states - stop. Take the computer to a reputable repair shop or call Dell for a technician. I do not know your exact system to tell you which storage media you have but is probably what is shown on page 30. https://dl.dell.com/content/manual77530376-xps-15-service-manual.pdf?language=en-us&ps=true
