That would mean the replacement screen is working correctly. Unfortunately, it also means the mainboard is not -- that will need to be replaced.
Any pressure significant enough to destroy the screen, also destroyed the system board.
So I swapped out the screens and it seems like the only issue I am having now is the laptop light flashes twice orange and eight times white and it is not going away. I looked up what the codes mean and it seems like it is a display power failure which I have no idea on how to fix. Wonder how I can make it go away?
looks like the mother of 9310 doesn't recognize the 9300 LCD. I have tried replacing the 9300 UHD LCD on my 9310 but the same thing happens Yellow light white light. In bios screen is dim.
@rd09, you are correct. The 9300 display is not compatible with the 9310 motherboard, even though it fits perfectly and looks like the correct item (until you turn it on). I had the same symptoms with my 9310 with two separate 9300 displays (I thought the first was defective). Be sure it is a 9310 display before buying it... the seller of the unit may not even be aware the two are not interchangeable, so be cautious and try to buy from someone who will accept a return if it does not work.

There are a few possibilities:
1. Defective screen.
2. Incompatible display panel.
3. Damage to the backlight power supply on the system board.
How extensively was the original screen damaged, and how did the damage take place?
Can you get screen self-test to run (hold D through powerup) and does the set of test patterns show the same fault?
This is not a BIOS (firmware) problem.

2,8 is a display power failure. See the earlier reply -- you have a mainboard that's been damaged in the accident.
