DELL XPS13 9380 issues
I recently purchased a Dell XPS13 9380 and ran into a lot of issues. I was just wondering if anyone had similar issues/ is this "normal". All these issues happened in the span of 2 weeks (my computer is 2 weeks old :/)
1. PCIE CardReader corrupted - installed new windows10 Pro
2. Bad_Pool_Caller Blue screen error after installing DellSupportAssist. Uninstalling DellSupportAssist did not fix this issue. Computer kept crashing 1 minute into restarting. - Did System Reset
Note: My computer is a little slower than before.
3. Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen error (ndis.sys failed) after Killer Wireless driver updated. I rolled back on the driver
4. Fan bursts. As I am watching Netflix (on edge, I tried the app as well with the same result) every few hours or minutes my fan will blast to full speed for around 30 seconds and then quiet. It happened a total of around 5 times a day.
5. Screen freezes. Maybe twice a day my screen will suddenly freeze. I'm not running hard processes - I'm literally just using this computer to watch videos as I am afraid of another blue screen crash so my comp has none of files on it. When the screen freezes, touch doesn't work, mouse doesn't move, videos don't play, fan will be on blast. Keyboard works as it still lights up. Fixes are usually using my power button to put my computer to sleep and waking it.
6. Power button: Sometimes I have to push the power button twice to boot up my computer.
7. Unable to play 4K on my 4K screen. Eg. In Windows HD color settings cannot toggle from no --> yes for use HDR for games and apps (Or something). I have no idea if the numbers shown in advanced display settings are correct since my computer crashed so much on the get go.
I think I fixed most of these issues by myself - calling Dell Tech Support is a huge inconvenience. (This is actually my second laptop after the first had a hardware default). Restarting my computer/ my computer crashing so many times in 2 weeks can't be good thing. I a noob with computers but does it damage the system in the long run? Are there supposed to be this many issues on a 2 week old computer? Help
Thank you for reading. I should have stuck to a mac

I just bought the same laptop through Costco. I hate it! It has to be a lemon. I had a prior model of the XPS 13 (9343) and loved it. This one takes forever to boot and to turn off (1 min+) and I don't know if it is actually turning off. It freezes often, mostly with outlook I think. I restarted it after an issue and it kept making noises. I click on programs and nothing happens. This thing is going back!

Dell computers have a basic one year warranty if you bought from Dell or an approved reseller. Make sure you are registered with Dell if you bought from a reseller.
