Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Undervolt Fails after Bios update ?
Hi, I have a XPS 15 9570 i9
When i bought it i installed Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and under-volted by .130 (From Reading Reviews etc etc)
It made a big difference and everything was good
In the last day or so i updated stuff from Dell prompts, BIOS 1.6 Being one of them . . (Its the only thing i can think of)
Now when i open the tuning utility voltage has defaulted back to normal and is greyed out from being changed ?
I have removed reinstalled/updated . . .all to no avail, still greyed out and cannot change ?
Has this happened to anyone else ? any thoughts please ?

I managed to get the undervolt option back when I did a "reset to default" in the BIOS.
I did this after I reverted back to 1.5 but I'm not sure It had to be done in that version.
After I updated to 1.6 again the undervolt option was enabled in Intel extreme tuning utility.

having same issue, could you please outline how to roll back and then upgrade BIOS? I tried "reset to default" and it just rverted settings, not version...

What Vaaldemar suggested works. Downgrade to pervious bios. Once completed, enter the bios and default it. Log in to Windows, start XTU and "Core Voltage Offset" will be available again.

You can have UnderVolt on all bios versions!!!
1. Go to Bios reset bios to default
2. Uncheck UEFI firmware capsule updates in your current bios under the security section
3. Download and run this as an administrator ( https://github.com/Brad331/NoDPTF )
4. Download your system bios that were released before December 2019
5. Downgrade bios to the old version
6. Reboot the system before windows boot Repeat steps (1 & 2)
7. After Windows boot update your bios to the latest version and it will work with whatever version is your bios now
8. This is the proof https://i.imgur.com/InzQ4qI.png
