Intel Management Engine Interface Driver not installing

My computer is a XPS 8930. 

Dell Update had a new driver update in my computer list:  Intel Management Engine Interface Driver, Version A05 (1914.12.0.1255).  I checked the driver that was on my computer and it says 1904.12.0.1208.

As I prefer to do the updates manually, I went to the list of drivers for my Service Tag and installed it.  All seemed to go right, the update ended successfully.  I restarted my computer.

I checked the driver on my computer and it still says 1904.12.0.1208 (January 2019)...the old driver.  What went wrong?  I ran Dell Update a second time and the driver is not in the list now, as if it was installed, but it is not.

I tried a second time...same result.  And Support Assist doesn't mention this driver has to be updated.

What can I do?  Do this driver really have to be updated?
