Laptop for programmer

 - Possibility to connect 3x2560x1440 external displays in 60 FPS
 - Good CPU
 - Should be quiet. It will be used in the office.
 - IPS

Purpose:
 - Programming. I will run a lot of docker containers.
 - Meetings (Video calls)
 - Ubuntu will be installed on it
 - No gaming

I was looking at XPS 9500 and it looks quite good but not sure about the noise which it may generate under load.

Given that Dell has no Ubuntu support for the XPS (officially anyway), the Precision Mobile Workstation 5000 or 7000 series would be a better starting point.

This is particularly true if the system is mission-critical, as Pro Gold support is available for the XPS, and the level of support you will get is well above anything in the consumer-grade system (XPS, Inspiron) world.
