New XPS 15 - Hinge Problem Fixed?
Hello.
I have a 2017 XPS 15 that is cooking along, except for the seemingly ubiquitous broken left hinge problem, which is becoming critical for my power port.. This model is the only one I can find with the combination of features and specs I want. My question is: Has Dell fixed the broken hinge problem in the new XPS 15's? Does anyone have experience on this?

@ejn63 I can see it to order on the Dell site. I have it bookmarked as a custom order. Is Dell selling old stock? It is also available on Amazon.

@ejn63 Thank you! You probably just saved me from a (second) mistake from ordering a Dell XPS 15. Do you have an opinion on my next choice, the NEW XPS 16?

There is no longer a new XPS 15 model -- they're 13, 14 or 16" and different in design from the old one you had.
Any remaining XPS 15 models you see are old stock.
