No Internet connection since Windows update
I have an XPS 13 and Yesterday I followed the instructions of the Windows on my laptop and updated the Windows 10 Pro system files, and since the update, my WiFi and also ethernet connections are not working, they are not receiving any Internet throughput.
The network connections do show in my list of available networks and I can connect, it accepts the WiFi password, but I have the error message 'No Internet, secured'. This is the same error for either WiFi or Ethernet.
I tried to revert the windows update to a system restore point which was made at the time of the windows update, but it didn't resolve the issue
I downloaded some WiFi drivers and reinstalled them, but the error persists
I have contacted local Dell support and they got me to do the following commands :
Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.
• Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.
• Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter
After doing these and restarting the laptop, the error is still persists.
Is there anybody here that can advise any further help with this issue?
THANKS!

What model XPS-13 do you have ?
Are you sure your router's WiFi is still working (does your other laptop or iPad still connect to AccessPoint)?
Reboot router, modem, everything. Be sure router is still giving-out dynamic IP-address from it's DHCP pool.
Sometimes WiFi-module over-rides wired ethernet (even when broken). Try switching off WiFi in BIOS or Device Manager and then connect cable.

I have a 9365 2n1 laptop.
Yes WiFi is working normally, my cellphone and also housemates laptops have no issues with the WiFi.
Thanks

When I restart the laptop in safe mode with networking, it doesn't load any network adaptors. Not for WiFi nor ethernet.

I have since done a local restore of my windows 10, and I wasn't able to connect to any network connections during the setup, there were no wireless networks showing.
When the setup had completed, there were no WiFi networks showing.
The network properties show my WiFi adapter as NOT OPERATIONAL
I can connect to ethernet through a display port hub

The result of this is after a windows reinstall, the WiFi adaptor isn't functioning, so is requiring a hardware fix. Dell service agent is coming to replace the motherboard. Will reply back with further progress.

Yes! I had exactly the same problem, sadly no fix yet.
I tried so many ways to try and fix the problem and still no breakthroughs. Although I only had this problem when I did the feature update, rather than just a normal update so not too bad.
Using the Recovery tab in settings to revert back to the previous version of windows 10.
Periodically I do try an install the feature update again to see if Microsoft (presuming its them) have fixed the problem.
Good Luck!
