No sound

XPS 13 Plus 9320

XPS 13 Plus 9320

Hi, There is no sound coming from browsers and apps unless I am connecting with Bluetooth audio devices. The audio drivers are up-to-date. The test sounds are working on the laptop but there is no sound coming from any browsers or youtube apps.

Hi, Today I received  audio driver update from the Dell support assist tool, Realtek Sound driver. After installing the driver now the speakers are working.

Click the sound icon on the systray area of the taskbar. Using the device list that appears, select your laptop speakers.

Its official speakers are not working. Test sounds are not working through speakers. I have updated and reinstalled the drivers. Any solution, please?

Fixed mine. Go to control panel > hardware and sound > manage audio devices > realtek speakers > advanced > unclick/turn off "enable audio enhancements. Stupid that is the issue but seems to work for youtube at least

Same issue, just noticed today. Have run the diagnostics and it was unable to fix it. Seems like ever since I synced bluetooth headphones. Even with bluetooth turned off and output set as computer speakers there is no sound. The 'test' sound works fine in both the left and right. Restarted multiple times, made sure everything is up to date and nothing.

Reinstalling Realtek driver fixes the problem, unfortunately, the problem comes back again... I still have this problem on Latitude.

Sound problem is big issue with dell laptop, when my laptop auto updated, my sound not working, either wired head phone stop working and Bluetooth headphone starts working or vice versa , after i update drivers then again laptop sound behaves opposite like Bluetooth stop working and wired headphone working.  Dell please find solution for this.

I have a G15 5525. Similar problems.  I simply went to device manager then to programs and features, scrolled down to realtek high audio device and unistalled it. Now everything works F.i.n.e. fine.  Sound and bluetooth.

I'd recommend just unistalling the realtek high def audio device from programs and features
