PN557W Button Programming

Question

I'm trying to use my Active Pen PN557W to draw in PhotoShop. When I use the Active Pen panel to program the buttons, I am unable to map the pen button to the Alt key. I've set it to keystroke -> {Alt} but nothing happens when I hold down the button.I'm not sure if the button hold is only registering as a single keystroke, but this makes it very difficult to use. Is there a way to set it to register as holding the Alt key for as long as I press the button?   Also, I'm not sure this is the correct forum for posting this, but I didn't see one for Dell Pens.   Thanks for any help!

Has there been any resolution to this? The pen does not seem to allow recording of keystroke ALT for me and this makes use in Photoshop very difficult
